Our Beginnings
Shanda E Holistic Services LLC, founded by Shanda Ellsworth in August 2021, is built on over 25 years of experience working with children and families. With a strong foundation in child development, psychology, and behavior supervision, combined with advanced training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and legal knowledge from a paralegal program, Shanda brings a unique and comprehensive approach to supporting families navigating special education, tutoring, parenting, and more while incorporating holistic well-being. Additionally, she offers life coaching, serves as an Independent Facilitator with the Regional Center, and leads group presentations focused on empowering families with the knowledge and tools they need to advocate effectively for their children.
A Strong Educational and Professional Foundation
Shanda’s extensive education, including a BA in Child Development and Psychology with an emphasis in Art 2-D and a Master’s degree in Psychology, equips her with deep insight into how children learn, grow, and respond to their environments. This knowledge is crucial for designing approaches that address the whole child—cognitively, emotionally, and developmentally.
Her 20 years of behavior supervision experience, paired with a certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), enables her to implement evidence-based strategies that promote positive progressive transformation. This expertise is particularly valuable for children with neurodiverse conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other developmental challenges.

Soon to be completing a paralegal program, Shanda adds another layer of support for families, particularly those navigating the complexities of special education law, IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes, and disability rights. Understanding legal frameworks empowers families to advocate effectively for their children, ensuring they receive the appropriate educational accommodations and services.
